Why did you join TradeTech, Jakob?

I had worked in the treasury field for many years and was introduced to TradeTech by a former colleague. Two things about this company especially impressed me: the level of professionalism and experience of TradeTech’s employees, and the diversity of the customer base. Now after six years with TradeTech, I’ve also found that the corporate culture is open, fast-paced and customer focused, which makes TradeTech a really fun place to be.

What is your role here?

I am a senior consultant, which means that I take on a wide range of roles anywhere in the span from strategy to hands-on system management. I am also a partner.

Tell us about an interesting project and what you liked about it

I managed two similar, yet very different projects at pretty much the same time: the support implementation of a large, multinational corporation on the one hand; and a specialized national bank on the other. It was very interesting to see how two such different types of organizations use the same treasury solution, and to help tailor each installation to suit their varying needs.
