The TradeTech story
TradeTech Consulting was founded in 1998 with focus on financial technology, and soon thereafter financial business competence. The strong combination of business and technical skills allows customers to use TradeTech as a single counterpart where they would normally have to turn to several different firms. With 100% focus on our highly specialized core segments, our offering is now probably the most complete available within the segments of treasury, asset management and capital markets.

The company is founded and serves as IT consultants with core competence within financial systems and functions. The focus areas are trading, brokers and trading-related services. |
| 2001 |
A new branch, TradeTech Services, is founded. Focus on disaster recovery solutions for the financial industry. Developed in response to request from Reuters, together with Reuters, OM, SunGard Availability Services, Carnegie, SBAB and Enskilda. |
| 2003 |
In addition to the capital markets segment, TradeTech now adds corporate treasuries. Expertise covers Trema's Finance KIT (now part of the Wallstreet Suite) and SunGard's Front Arena. |
| 2004 |
TradeTech begins managing functions and systems with focus on treasury, asset management and capital markets. TradeTech Services is spun off. |
| 2005 |
TradeTech signs operations and functional sourcing contracts with major corporate treasuries and financial institutions. |
| 2007 |
TradeTech opens the TradeTech Service Desk (now known as Business Support) as a business area. Started to develop Business Intelligence competence within our core segments in response to customer demand. Focus is on Microsoft's Business Intelligence tools. More major corporate treasuries sign on to our business support service and sign long term contracts. |
| 2008 |
Senior competence in key supporting areas is recruited. In the Asset Mangement space TradeTech takes on Charles River competence. The success story of our Business Support service continues and more customers are added. A new segment served is banks. |
| 2009 |
A global crisis rocks the financial markets. TradeTech stands steady thanks to strong customer relationships and long-term Business Support contracts. The autumn of 2009 marks the beginning of a new era at TradeTech. A new management team is appointed, as well as a new, external board of directors. |
| 2010 |
2010 is the financially strongest year thus far in TradeTech's history and the business is growing in all areas. A new area is the support- and maintenance agreement with Ortec Finance (Pearl), serving their Swedish customers. TradeTech also takes on management consulting projects within our core segments treasury, asset management and capital markets. |
| 2011 |
Within the CapitalMarkets segment TradeTech Consulting signs support and maintenance agreement with Orc Software, supporting their Nordic customers. More corporate treasuries and banks sign up for our business support service. Financial growth continues, another record-breaking year! |
